Michael Wacker

Co-founder, Chief Scientific Officer; Board Member

 

Michael Wacker co-founded GlycoVaxyn in 2004 and has been responsible for its technology and product development, as well as development collaborations since its inception. He is also a member of the Board of Directors.

Dr. Wacker holds a M.Sc. in biochemistry from the ETHZ and completed his Ph.D. and post-doctoral fellowship in microbiology at ETHZ. During this time he invented GlycoVaxyn's technology. He is the author of several publications in international scientific journals, including Science and PNAS, as well as inventor of various patent applications.
